Thanks for FO for last week's thread and question of the week. That seems to have become a regular thing for this thread, and I sometimes struggle to come up with anything meaningful. So as I sit here looking outside at the clear skies and snowy ground (yes, really), waiting for it to warm up just a little bit before heading out for a run, I got to wondering just what are my limits? As some of you know, I've run long runs down to -27°F to prepare for Boston. Part of not wanting to run Boston this year was because I want a break from that. I've run in -40° just to say I've done it, but only half a mile or so.

I guess I should also add that I'm really a fair weather runner... I dislike running in heavy rain but sprinkles are ok, and I don't like a lot of wind.

What are your limits? For just "going for a run," I prefer temps above -10°F for the coldest, and don't enjoy running in the 80's but I do it in the summer. But that's a dry heat, as they say. I'm sure I'd wilt in the H&H many of you run in.
