<p>If you've been experiencing the same weather that the others living in the northwestern hemisphere have, and you are still compiling running miles, then we know you LOVE to run.   In honor of Valentine's Day, tell us what it is about running that you just LOVE so much.  And maybe you can say it in a poem.  :)</p>

<p>Monday= late getting out but still got heart pumping a bit 1.3</p>
<p>Tuesday=</p>
<p>Wednesday=run 2.1 weights 20 min</p>
<p>Thursday=run 2</p>
<p>Friday=run 2</p>
<p>Saturday=some hiking</p>
<p>Sunday=nothing</p>
<p>totals</p>

<p>I love to run becasue it's just like having fun, but different. (okay not a poem, but a poetic thought)</p>

<p>Big recovery week for me. I'm starting off by wearing slippers to work!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Monday: rest</p>
<p>Tuesday: 3 miles</p>
<p>Wednesday: rest and weights</p>
<p>Thursday: 7 miles</p>
<p>Friday: 5 miles</p>
<p>Saturday: 3 miles</p>

<p>For Track Tuesday, I get to reduce the recoveries from 800m to 400m.</p>
<p> </p>

<p>Monday.....slacking big time, just easy lunch yoga and the foam roller.....................................done</p>
<p>Tuesday...warmup, strides & drills, 800m x 5, cooldown...................................................done-6.61 mi.</p>
<p>Wednesday...7 miles easy............................................................................................done-7 mi.</p>
<p>Thursday.....7 miles with 4.5 tempo in the middle............................................................done-7 mi.</p>
<p>Friday.........rest..................................................................................................................done</p>
<p>Saturday....11.5 miles easy..........................................................................................done-11.5 mi.</p>
<p>Sunday......rest................................................................................................................done</p>

<p>To be honest, I love the way running makes my body look.  It helped me lose 30 lbs and with the shape I'm in now, I'm not going to hide it in a bag anymore.  Not very many 54 yr olds look <em>this</em> good in skinny jeans!  OK, yea, I do refuse to act, or look, my age! <span><img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"></span></p>

<p><strong>T.... 6.1 ....no soreness</strong></p>
<p><strong>W.... 0   seemed to develop a "creak" or "catch" in my back ???? no running </strong></p>
<p><strong>T....0  same, but better</strong></p>
<p><strong>F.....more 0</strong></p>
<p><strong>S.... heating pad helps alot 0</strong></p>
<p><strong>S.... 10.8 ...Beartree loop with Beth and Jenny -13:00 pace, snow was rare.</strong></p>

<p><strong>JJJ...16.9 and well tapered----back 95% well</strong></p>

<p>S. rest</p>

<p>I love running for the feeling of freedom from constraints.</p>

<p>This week is very loosely planned.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Monday..........rest day</p>
<p>Tuesday........ 5 miles easy (avg pace 11:20) (Rt AT tightened up in last 2)</p>
<p>Wed................6-8 miles planned...ran 6 on tired legs</p>
<p>Thurs..............5 miles planned...done...on even more tired legs, but rewarded with a gorgeous full moon</p>
<p>Fri..................yoga</p>
<p>Sat..................10-12 planned.....ran 11</p>
<p>Sunday...........yoga</p>
<p> </p>
<p>total: 27 miles</p>
