Edit 5/20/08: This is an old post regarding the last round of the game. I'm updating the scoring site for Round VIII today. I'll let you know when it's ready. If you haven't played before, go ahead and register for it at your convenience. If you have played before, you don't need to register again.

The VRAA VII scoring website is up. I still have to fix a few cosmetic things (I know VRAA VI is over), but the thing functions, and all team and player info for this round has been entered. Once y'all have settled on team names, I'll plug those in.

Here's how to use it:

Go to vraa.mootness.net. If you haven't registered for the site already, you'll have to do so; it's painless. There are instructions on the front page. Be sure that your username for the site matches your Kick username (see the list on the front page). If it doesn't, you won't be able to enter points; the point entry system is tied to your username.

Once you've logged on, click "Input Points" to enter points. Select the appropriate date and enter the points you earned in each category. If you didn't earn points that day in a particular category, you can just leave that field blank. If you work out multiple times in a day, you can make multiple entries.

Click "View/Edit Your Points" if you'd like to review or correct any of your entries. You'll be able to see each entry made for you over the course of the game. Click the "edit" link if you'd like to change anything. If you do edit entries, make sure you select the correct date from the drop-down menu.

You can also view the overall team standings, the individual leaderboard, and detailed, sortable information about how players and teams are doing.

Captains: You'll have additional options available that allow you to enter, edit, and review point entries for your team members. It's up to you whether you handle the bulk of the reporting duties or whether you delegate the task to individual team members.

A reminder: the site isn't intended to be a hang-out or a substitute for the daily scoring threads. So be sure you're reporting your workouts in the thread and loitering & trash-talking in the forum.

If you have any issues or requests for additional features, send me a PM.
