This story is really funny.

Lisa Murkowski lost the Republican primary for Alaska's U.S. Senate race. So she decided to stage a write-in campaign to challenge the GOP winner, Joe Miller, and the Democrat candidate, Scott McAdams.

Since Murkowski wasn't officially on the ballot, her campaign had requested that a list of write-in candidates be provided to voters at the election sites. The campaigns of Miller and McAdams both sued the state this week to block it. A lower court sided with the two parties, but later the Alaska Supreme Court overturned that ruling, allowing the list to be present.

So now, according to the Anchorage Daily News, over 100 people have registered as write-in candidates to make Murkowski's name harder to find on that list.

For some reason, I think this is hilarious. I suppose it just shows that if somebody tries to sneak around the law to get ahead, somebody else will sneak around it in another way.

But if nothing else, at least we found something that the Republican and Democrat parties agree on...
