<p>Good Morning,</p>
<p>  Today is my last day of vacation.  I get to spend 2.5 hours of it in a dentist chair, ugh.  My trip to NJ was nice.  It was too short and too long at the same time if that makes any sense. </p>

<p>I got to see family and friends and even got a chance to see my dad for an afternoon and evening. </p>

<p>i need to call the dentist, been too long, but every time i call, they are not in the office. bad timing.</p>

<p>it is FREEZING out and looks like  a dusting of snow out there. brrrrrr.</p>

<p>i spent yesterday afternoon doing a mega overhaul and organization (and $200 at Target) to get Zoe's toys in order upstairs. Will take a trip to Ikea before work to buy more organization stuff for the house. DH and I can never agree on how to organize, so it never gets done, so i just decided to do it and get it over with.</p>

<p>Speaking of organization, I will go to Target or Shopko today to buy a couple inexpensive bookshelves.</p>
<p>I have a TON of professional materials, children's books, tutoring items which I simply boxed and tossed in the basement.</p>
<p>I need to get things out and on shelves; so will begin that task today.</p>

<p>Did I tell you guys that I've been hired for three weeks to do intensive literacy interventions with four of my [former] school's little rugrats? It will be 2.5 hours per afternoon for 12-15 days. I will begin tomorrow.</p>
<p><span>The current principal and literacy coordinator came to me last month with the request.</span></p>
<p><span>How could I turn down my school family!</span></p>

<p>enjoy your back to work, Porty my uncle was a speech therapist for his school district and retired but still does work for them here and there on a consulting basis. Best of both worlds </p>

<p>a little snow started to fall and Zoe just went bonkers with excitement. Made me almost like the snow! LOL now time to decide on bfast.</p>

<p>For me, first order of business for getting organized is getting rid of stuff.  I home schooled for ten years.  Do you have any idea how much junk I accumulated?!</p>

<p>I have so much stuff I need to get done today.  I was gone for a week and the house got trashed.  I spent two hours in the kitchen yesterday, just finding counters so I could take a putty knife to them as apparently it never occurred to anyone to actually wipe stuff down.  Smack dab in the middle of the afternoon I had a dentist appt.  Apparently I broke a tooth.</p>

<p>Last day for me too.  Up early though to get one oby to the airport in time and then I'll go for a nice run I think.  It doesn't feel like winter though, it will be 14 (58) today and windy.</p>

<p>Time for us to get organized and de-cluttered here also.  I guess I should go help Mrs. Boiler with taking down some of the Christmas stuff.</p>

<p>5.25 miles.  Slow, but I think that has more to do with feeling sluggish due to the sluggish food I ate yesterday than it does with the hills and wind (after all some times the wind was at my back going downhill!).</p>

<p> It was back to school today... and it was a whacky day overall,  I'm glad it is a  4 day week this week - tomorrow is Wednesday already!</p>

<p>  Onto  exercise bike tonight- persistent headache all day did not motivate me to go to bootcamp.  Somehow the idea of  bending down to pick up weights or doing a plank hold made my head hurt worse.</p>
<p> </p>
<p> Need to get to bed earlier tonight. Yawn big time today.</p>
