This calculator has been making the rounds to adjust your marathon time in the way a certain politician might adjust his. When I realized that it was PRT I thought I just needed to bring the levity here.

Hope everyone here is healthy wealthy and wise.

I have to smile....otherwise I'd be crying.

Hard to admit that I'm a 'Sconnie when walker and Ryan are representing my state.

Thank goodness. I just thought I was a slow runner. So glad I actually ran a sub 3 hour marathon.

Actually, in all honesty I beat Ryan's 4:01 three times in my marathon running career: 3:58:00, 3:55:00 and 3:51:00 in Macon, GA; Niagara Falls, Ontario; and Oklahoma City respectively.

Perhaps we can start a new kind of running event. Nothing major has happened to running in quite a few years. We can call future races the Paul Ryan standard and proportionally lower everyone's running times by the appropriate amount. People would be much happier with their running times and not have to feel so bad if they are a back of the packer like me. :)
