I have no idea. I have seen commercials for it and just don't understand why anyone would put there relationship to the test like that. Do you think it is staged though? I wonder....

The show is sick, from what I've heard. I don't get the appeal to WATCHING it, really.<br><br>
I wouldn't care anything they could ask me to the lie detector with DH there. There's nothing hidden. However, I wouldn't really want the world to see the whole thing.

People go on the Jerry Springer show for free. At least here they stand to make a buck of of the train wreck.<br><br>
On a purely scientific note, I wonder about the scientific validity of the supposed "correct" answers on that show. It seems that the questions are worded vaguely enough that the contestant may not actually know if they're telling the truth - which takes any credibility that the lie detector test may have and flushes it down the toilet.

Thankfully I've never seen it. Even though I have an embarrassing weakness for bad reality shows, this doesn't sound appealing at all.

If last night is an indication... it's like a Springer Version of "This Is Your Life"<br><br>
They bring you and your family (last night it was his mother, wife, SIL, and BIL) on stage, and ask you potentially relationship-ending questions about your past, all while hooked up to some form of lie-detector. The more you answer truthfully, the more money you win.<br><br>
Some of last nights questions (and his answers):<br><br>
"Have you ever made a wax replica of your privates?" (Yes)<br>
"Is your wife the most attractive woman you've ever dated?" (No)<br>
"Have you ever had s*xual relations with one of your wife's sisters?" (No)<br>
"Have you ever slept with one of your friend's wives?" (Yes)<br><br><br>

I can't believe there are REAL people willing to go through that for money. And I think it's been shown that Jerry Springer was all a set up too, wasn't it?
