Okay kickrunners, time for our next virtual event. It starts Thanksgiving week the 19th of November and ends 02 January 2008.<br><br>
For those of you unfamiliar with this its basically a way to stay motivated through the busy holiday season, with daily events and activities that promote health, wellness, and fitness. By participating in each event you get points, plus you get points each day you do any type of fitness related activity (for at least twenty minutes)<br><br>
Here is an example of some of this years activities
<ul><li>Wear your seat belt</li>
<li>Getting your blood pressure checked</li>
<li>Giving up junk food</li>
</ul>
The teams consist of three people, and once teams are formed, you need to come up with a holiday/fitness themed team name (such as Three French Hens, Batteries Not Included, Christmas Treesome, etc)<br><br>
The week runs from Monday through Sunday, and a designated team captain can report team points to me via email or private message.<br><br><br>
I will upload the calendar for viewing, I can email one to you, and each days events will be available on a calendar here. I will also post each days activity in a separate thread each day.<br><br>
Some of the riff raff folks are familiar with this event as we have done this three or four times at those various sites.<br><br>
Please post any questions that you have here and I will answer them, drop me a private message, or email me <a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a> and I will help you out.<br><br>
