My son thinks I can do magic, because I can say "abracadabra" and make the light turn green. He doesn't know I am watching the light for the other street to get the timing right. My daughter knows it's some sort of trick, but she can't figure it out.

Where this crosses over into art or craft is the fact that his or her little hands aren't covered in gloves. That was genius there.

When I was that age my mother used a towel to craft a turban and a blanket to make me a cloak and I went out onto the porch to watch a lightning storm approach.

"Thunder and Lightning APPEAR!" I would shout, to no avail. But then, then... IT DID. It gasted my flabber and I was dumbstruck when I did it AGAIN! It didn't take much on my Mom's part but it is a memory that has stuck with me all my life. The time I made lightning appear.

I sent the video to DW. T2 and T3 watched it with her. At dinner we talked about it - I was amazed at the amount of detail T3 (my son) retained from watching it once. He could describe the Darth Vader costume in detail. He couldn't tell me what colour the dog was. :)
