I've now missed 8 days of training for Boston due to the flu and I don't seem better. Say I miss 2 weeks, how bad will this hurt me? I had run 18 miles the Saturday before I became sick.

You'll be fine. Missing two weeks is not ideal but you seem to be on target with your last long run. I've been there before and couldn't help but feel the rest for my joints and muscles outweighed the slight loss in conditioning.<br><br>
I hope you feel better. That flu is nasty this year.
