I'm not sure how this worked over at the other site, but I'd like to try it here, be a bit more accountable to somebody else. I don't have time to journal everything twice though so how do you want to work this?

Maybe just a support / encouragement thing? We can report how our day went, good or bad.

I use sparkpeople and love it. I have found it easier to use than fitday and just started back recently.

So far so good, down 13 lbs so far!

Great idea WR4C!

Nice going on the loss, sierra.

I have lost 6 lbs. since Jan. 1 but it's been slow going and full of stalls. Wednesday morning will be my next weigh-in. I have about 4-5 to go to my goal, but those are always so hard to lose. My goal date is my birthday, April 24.

I'm still happy with FitDay. You can use it with a site called Dietfacts (I believe it's www.dietfacts.com) and if you're logged in to FD Dietfacts will sync up and add foods from a huge database (like manufacturer brands and restaurants) right into your FitDay.

Here's my plan through lunch. As you can see I am in a breakfast food mood today:

http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJ...Owner=andyber1

So, do we want to keep this as one ongoing thread, a weekly thread, or start a daily thread? What do you folks think would work best? Maybe weekly?

Kids cereal. It's anful lot like Lucky Charms with car shaped marshmellows. I always mix my cereal up and throw in something sweet to give my Bran Buds and Go Lean some sweetness. DW bought it as a treat for my son who didn't really like it that much.

Do we post in this thread everyday or do we start a new everyday?

Don't look here!!!

Down another half lb today!

What I have found is that I can not eat ANY processed sugar at all. If I do, I will gain way more than I have eaten. I am pretty much resigned to it, but still struggle with it. I just know that if I eat a cookie or drink a smoothie, the scale will be up at least one or two lbs the next day, and it takes the same amt of work to get it off as it did the first time!

SGH, I am sure those last few lbs will come off, its just frustrating cause it seems to take so much longer when you are that close to your goal!

I guess it could depend on how busy the thread gets. If we're very chatty we might like a daily thread; if we're quieter we could have a weekly thread.

sierra, how do you satisfy your sweet tooth?

We can set this up however everyone wants. Merigayle can make it a sticky if she wants to!

As fas as my sweet tooth, I just deny it completely. When I cant do that, I eat an apple. If I do fail, and eat something sweet, I just know what to expect and deal with it. It totally depends on how motivated I am at any given time.

I made this thread a sticky, then next week, whoever starts the thread, that can be the new weekly check in sticky

Same weight today. Holding steady at 194, but I feel like I'm about to move in the right direction...I had only been droppng down to 194 for the last few weeks, never going below that weight. Now I've been there 3 days in a row and have been discliplined. I figure if I'm good today and work out later a bit, tomorrow I will finally break that barrier.

Last night I woke up starving and felt strange. I checked my blood sugar level and I was very low. I ate ice cream. Bad, Notey, bad.

Notey's Top Secret Weight Loss Stuff

AAAAHHHHH!
I had my monthly w/i at WWers--->I have scale phobia, even after losing a bazilion pounds. So when I saw that I was UP TWO POUNDS, I had a coronary.
Now, my rational mind KNOWS that the human body swings 1-4 pounds in a given day. But my phobic mind thinks I'm getting fat again.

I've been farting around with my BLT eating* all winter, and it caught up with me last night.
Time to hop back on the weightloss pony and whip that lazy ass back up to speed.
YEE-HAAA!

*B.L.T.s--->Bites/Licks/Tastes all add up, eh?

Weight didn't budge. I was hoping to get a little bit of a loss after using Fitday for 3 days so I could report a lower weight today for the CH Weight Loss Challenge.

However, I'm doing pretty well. Day 4 of using Fitday religously. It feels good.

No gurlz aloud
