Everything happens for a reason right?<br>
This whole mess started out as just something that really pissed me off when I saw how crappy the Active site's forums and log are, but now that the dust has settled I can see some good came of it (at least for me).<br><br>
The moral of the story is: you dont know what you've got til it's gone.<br>
For a while I posted farily regularly at CR, but then dropped off to intermittent lurker for a good 15-18months. Then, at Active, I couldn't even figure out the forums and was primarily concerned with getting my running log whole again so I didn't see all the discussions about moving to Kick and RA at first. When I checked them both out I found I liked Kick's forums even better than CR and RA's Log even better too!<br>
Don't confuse me with Thor or anything, but I feel like the romance is back or something like that - like I got complacent and comfortable with lurking at CRMS but now with the threat of losing what we had, the fire is re-lit and I hereby vow to do more to hold up my half of the relationship.<br><br>
I guess I just feel really good about our new home and I wanted everyone to know it.

I really do hope the founders of coolrunning got a nice payout. Seriously. It was a wonderful place to be, for a very long time.
