Ok, so it was one hill, and I'm not sure if I ate it or it ate me, but I did it. Good run this morning. C25K W6D1 with a hill and some "speed" thrown in for fun.

Nice way to start off the day, Amichel!

I ran some hills last night. Up and down and up and down. Ended up as 6.7 miles, much of it in a heavy rain. But once the lightning started to get really close to me, I shut it down. I'm sure I would've been okay if I kept going, but meh.

I'll try to squeeze in a few easy miles this evening...

Greetings, all.

I attempted to take spinning class a bit easy last night, with my HM on Sun. For some reason, my quads feel even MORE beat up than usual. Oof. Will do maybe 4M on the TM this evening.

Last night's workout was mowing my lawn. And yes, it is so a workout - corner lot on a hill + non-self-propelled mower that I have to push + the fact that I bag all the clippings = workout.

8 miles tonight! And based on today's thread, I think I ought to run my hilly loop! I'm looking forward to it. Hope the weather is as great tonight as it was last night!

No hills for me. 5.6 miles that was a huge struggle. Was supposed to do intervals, but I slept awful last night and I think that was bringing me down. Might try them again tomorrow.

I just finished ab stuff (with Gus licking my head) and am going to take him for a walk. I guess we could walk some hills. Going the back way around would help avoid all the school traffic that's kicking up.

nice job amy!

well then, there's no need for a shower there kath.

it's not often i get to log a morning run so here i am. i ran. not as early as i was planning, the 5:30 alarm didn't quite do the trick so a 6:30 start and now i have to rush downstairs to meet my coworkers b/f our meeting. not too impressed with the city of albany - a very melancholic place. the corning trail is kind of nice but with the highway right next to it, it's not quite as quiet as i like. not sure what my mileage (>6 )was as the hostess last night pointed me out of the lobby in the wrong direction and i didn't realize it until i was about 1/2 mile away. she mapped out a route for me and i asked how far it was...

"about a 1/4 mile. maybe a little more."

huh?

good runs all.

rftl - i owe you a response to lobstering & walleye fishing. after my meeting.

Got a run in this morning. I planned to get up at 6:30 but Evelyn had a fussy night and I was beat. So I was up and gone at 7:30 instead. 3 miles, some hills.

Two miles in the books. It was so nice and cool this morning compared to the 80s. I'm so ready for fall weather.

5.4 flat miles...okay, I ran over the Grand River twice but that doesn't count since the bridges are barely crowned. Threw a fast mile in there to get a little tempo work in. Surprised the pace was below 9:00.

3 miles with the beastie, and we did indeed walk the back way which means some hills. Or what passes for hills around here.

Lovely morning, and now I'm eating some yummy granola.

I've got nothing. No plans to run today. I tossed my schedule and I am going to run only when I feel like it. This morning I got up at 4:30, but needed to do some work rather than run. Wouldn't you know I forgot to e-mail my stuff to work when I finished. Gah.

I'm such a wimp. I just couldn't bare to run in the dark this morning. Chalk it up to a bad night's sleep. I'm heading out for some miles after I drop kiddo #2 off at preschool. I'm pretty sure my route will include some hills today.

Morning all! I had a good motivator all set up for this morning so I would stick to my a.m. running; met up with Tavia for 7.9 miles in pretty mild conditions. Although last night's rain brought back a fresh wave of humidity. Having dinner tonight with my momma who'll be in town for like 24 hours, she's such a jet setter.

The week of traveling and not quite ideal sleep the final couple days caught up with me last night - had no pep for anything running or swimming related, so I stuck with some light strength training. Going to head out for 8-10 today come hill or highwater

My running club keeps sending me opportunities to do some pacing gigs that I just can't do - first one was just too slow a pace even though I'm pretty much set on doing the race, while the one I got yesterday was TCM weekend (pacing the 2:10 group at the San Jose RnR HM). Looks like my first gig will be as an unofficial pacer for BigG for her go at a PR (if she still wants me as such, that is )

Nice set of workouts already folks - keep up the good work!

I do have remote access so I can get into my work computer from home - but not vice versa because I ordinarily would not need to. And I was working directly with MS Word on the article on my home computer because I hate using Word through Citrix because it is a PITA.

Then smack your Citrix admins around. MS word is just about the easiest thing in the world to set up via Citrix.
