Sparkpeople is so slow. Obviously I'm not the only one logging food as part of my New Years Resolution.

gah! up 1.5 lbs. I should have lost, according to calories in/calories out, so I suspect sodium intake or some other shenanigans. Trying not to get too upset about it.

If I keep doing the right thing, I'll see the result. Eventually. Which doesn't make it any easier. :(

Ok, so I've joined a 26 week online national challenge put on by one of the Canadian Fitness shows called "X-Weighted". I'm hoping that it will motivate me to stay on track for the 26 weeks as they have random drawings every week, for some pretty nice prizes. As long as you weigh in every week you are eligible. Grand prize is a trip to Halifax for a makeover by their fashion/hair/self-esteem expert.

I'm still logging my food on Sparkpeople (16 for 16 days now) and have played Kinect every day.

So is this our weight loss thread then? Let's rename it or start a new one. It's good motivation for me.

I'm down 6 pounds this week. But, that number is suspect, I believe. One, because I ate something before I weighed in this morning, and two, I think last Monday's number was a little more than it should have been due to lots of water weight.

Still, though, it goes in the books as a 6 lb loss.

6 pounds in a week, you could be on Biggest loser? Are you attributing that to exercise, diet or both?

Both, plus, like I said, I think last week's number was mostly water, so it was a little suspect.

I like the renaming of the thread!

Congrats Altoids!

I actually discovered that I have stomach muscles during my workout tonight. I also think there is just a little less back fat flapping out of my workout top.

I'm feeling pretty good about this years journey. Maybe this will be the year that is different than the last 10.
