Active is freakin loading my inbox today. (Why today, no idea)
I'm not coming back go away! I'd rather stick hot coals in my eyes that use that stupid site for anything again.

They finally admitted today that they have no intention to fix the login problem. Since they don't plan to make things better for their members, all the more reason to not have waited to make the move to Kick.

Why did CR's owners even bother to align with Active? If they couldn't support their forums they could have just killed them. It would have been more honorable then trying to force people to put up with the ineptness at Active. It's doubtful very many are still there.

You can go one step further and be like BrewDad....he's tired of not knowing what fees Active will decide to charge until the very last page that he snail mails registrations where he can. Active only as a last resort.

Here's the funny thing about the CR e-mails:

1) they suddenly decided I needed a flood of them (I didn't start getting them until a few weeks after the takeover, and I sure didn't change any settings during that time)
2) now I'm getting them in response to threads I haven't responded to in ages

If I get the energy, I'll have to go over and turn on the block sender feature. Thanks 4boysmom

I can't believe that they screwed up the integration so badly.

Was was the point of the acquisition/merger if they did not care about the commodity that they we acquiring, i.e. the community of users? However, it did work very well for kickrunners who had a superior product when there was a demand for it. This would be a good case study in a business class for dealing with the internet community.

In retrospect, I'm kind of glad that they botched the integration, the Kickrunners site is clearly better than the original CR forum, lets hope that they stay with the technology curve and not fall behind it as CR did.
