Just a quick note of thanks to everyone from Kick who helped me in the last year plus as I prepared for tomorrow.

Thanks to you, the 140.6 does not seem as daunting. Many of you have done the distance or portions of the distance, have gone though the training, and had and reported just about every and any problem imaginable. From intestinal issues, injury and pain - to the perfect day and a Kona qualification -(cough, cough FoxRunner), I've heard it all and nothing will surprise me and surprisingly, none of it scares me. If I should be be graced with a perfect race, I will be thankful and if something goes wrong (and I'm sure it will) I will take it all in stride. I will do my best to make you proud (although just getting out there is enough, I know), but each and everyone here has contributed to getting this far.

Oh, and apparently, I'm getting a little sappy as the taper nerves approach.

Now for a shameless plug. - you can all stop reading now!

Thank you, Monica. I know I'm a pain in the ass and while I wish I could do this WITH you, I couldn't have done it with you. Sure we had some rough days, but that is training, but I appreciate everything you do for me everyday and how you've made this week and task easier. I love you!

Finally. Now didn't I say somewhere, at some time, that this would happen -- this being YOU breaking down in an emotional lovefest -- praising the support of the very sexy ass that you married? :) <-- Now that's a big ass smile. But not for me being right but rather for you going through this at this hour.

AdCo, you fucking rocked the training. Pardon my sweedish language here, but you kick complete ass, stayed focused through and through, and believed in yourself when even you wondered if you were sane. So hang strong one final night, and then get out there and live the dream. Because that is exactly what you are doing. I've told you this before, and maybe you got it, or maybe tonight you will get it, or maybe tomorrow you will, but either way, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you, with the loving support of your incredible wife, are living the dream other do not dare to even dream. Rock on, Adco. Be strong. Believe in self. And have fun. The rest will come for free.
