Happy Friday everyone, rest day for me before tomorrow's hill work. Have a great start of the weekend and don't work too hard.

Rest day! After yesterday, it's welcome. Tomorrow's a 5K and I'm counting on the residual soreness from Monday night working itself out before then.

And another rest day! I'm running leg 2 at the Lake Winnie Relay tomorrow - 11 miles. I'll hand off the baton to Vogel and will keep running, to run leg 3 (9.3 miles) at training run pace to get in my final 20 before Baystate!

I ran 6.25 miles totally yesterday. 5.5 miles of that was run with the Thursday night ladies running group, and I ran at about an 8:10 pace. It felt really good. No problems with the Achilles, and even nothing when I woke up this morning, which is good since it tends to stiffen up overnight a lot.

Today will be a rest day from running/cardio and I will go to yoga class this evening.

Probably no run today b/c I will run long tomorrow. I may add some time on the elliptical or bike when I head to the gym later.

Good luck on the 5K race, Sister. Enjoy your rest days everyone.
10+ miles for me this morning. I broke out of my Summer running rut of no long runs by about a half a mile.

I haven't been feeling all that well this week, so opted to take the last two days off. I did get out for four slow miles this morning. I'm still feeling rusty. I've got a "One Hour" race tomorrow and have no idea how well I'll be able to run. We shall see.

I am still alive -

Great racing to all the weekend competitors

I got my but up and went to the Y this am: 40 minutes eliptical, 10 Stairmaster and 10 treadmill.
I still can not run on TM without having the incline at 10% or greater - Hip pain. At 10 or 11% it feels fine.

In the past 3-4 weeks I am up 24 pounds - But this is just a handicap to give Alex a head start for our December 1st show down Now just to heal up and get the blubber down.

Good running to all
