<p>Barefoot beach run to celebrate a friends birthday.  For her birthday one of my running buddies wanted to run the beach so a few of us joined her.  Saw a great sunrise over the water.  Great way to start the day, nicer than running the roads.  Working from home as I pack for weekend.  Have a great weekend.  Thor, have a great time in the Rockies.</p>

<p>Slept instead of OWS this a.m.  I was just soooo tired.  If I can get out of work a little early I'll get in my OWS after work. </p>

<p>I'm over this week.  I could give you all a million reasons, but impossible is nothing.  So, despite doing nothing but laundry yesterday I'm taking my scheduled rest day today - back on the roads tomorrow for my long run.  And it will be awesome.</p>

<p>Basic daily run this morning. Picked up my race packet for tomorrow's Pikes Peak Ascent. Bought a couple things at the expo. Spending the remainder of the day resting.</p>

<p>Big race time in Colorado. Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon, Leadville Trail 100 Ultra, Trans Rockies Run, USA Pro Cycling Challenge. The top bikers are here in town for the prologue on Monday. Cadel Evans, the Schleck brothers and lots of others will spend a week doing a stage race in Colorado that starts on Monday here in the city.</p>

<p>Well, if this weather ever passes I'll be out for a quick 3.5mi run before heading to the lake.  It's going to be strange to be up there and not doing Timberman.  I am a little bit sad but not as sad as I thought I would be.  I guess I really didn't want to do it just like I thought when I decided to not do it this year.</p>

<p>DOR here...realized yesterday I'm like 11 weeks out from Catalina Eco Marathon. Eek! So, doing 12 tomorrow to kind of check in on where I am.</p>

<p>Didn't post yesterday but did the quad-burner stair workout at a local park. Haven't done it in a long time and definitely feeling it today. Hoping it will help with the hill training for Catalina.</p>
