Another 4 on theTM for me this AM. Just about when I am getting warmed up, I have to quit. Tomorrow I'll test the roads, since my knee seems to be cooperating.

FO, It usually takes me about 4 miles to get going too.

I had a great run today. I had too much going on to head for the trails so I headed out for my hilly 10 mile route. A couple miles out of town, I crossed over to the other highway to pick up a huge hill, then crossed back on the road for my hilly 8 mile route. On the way back into town I crossed over again to do the big hill the other way (its about 150 foot down to a creek followed by 150 ft up the other side) and then added on a two mile loop. Once in town, I ran by the high school to add another half mile. Started with a couple miles just under 8 minute pace and then ran the next 4 about 7:20 pace. With the wind at my back I avg 6:48 the next 3 miles. When I turned to do the large hill, I did the next 2 miles into the wind in 7:16 and 7:08. I avg 6:41 for the last 4 miles for a total of 15.07 miles in 1:46:51 (7:05/mile)

While the weather was a little uncomfortable 53° and a 20 mph wind, the cool temps felt great compared to working out at the Anytime Fitness and my last mile was the fastest of the run.

Good running Ks, FO, & rip

3 TM miles, started tentatively at 11mm, gradually increasing speed to 8:30 pace. Did better than I thought considering no aerobic exercise in over a month. If I feel OK later, will try an outside run tomorrow.
