Good Morning,

Waiting to take my daughter to the bus stop then off to work. I got a 6.x mile run in today and I thought I was going faster than a 9:30 pace. Ugh. I saw the darkened shadows of 2 deer again. Other than that it was an uneventful run.

All right, Friday!

FB - good job out there early!

Jill - nice five, it has been nice and cool the last couple of days. I wish it would stick around until sunday morning.

I had an easy 4 with my friday pre-work minigroup + core/strength, a bit of a redemption route for me since this was the run I bailed on them a mile into a couple weeks ago.

Have a great day, folks.

Morning...

FB - Nice going on the beginning of a long string of 6's

Jill - You're sounding like your old perky self again.

zrun - Redemption is sweet. Nice running.

FB--some runs are like that.

Jill--nicely done.

zrun--glad to hear that you are doing better!

Dan--okay, dead brain here... what's TGIARD?

Fishbowl for son1 and me this morning. I was planning on a rest day, but last night son1 asked when we were going this morning. Okay, okay... 2500 of going back and forth, back and forth...

I printed out the entry form for Columbus Marathon last evening. Son1 has been talking about doing the half. He filled it out, indicating he is doing the FULL. Uh... um... let me think that one over... He will turn 18 on race day.

I decided to sleep in (until 7am - woohoo!) this morning as I was just plain tired. I'm not sure those extra 2 hours helped. Anyway, the plan is to get my run on at lunch.

4boysmom - nice fishing trip. Your son is rather ambitious... does he plan on pacing you?

Dan - Thank goodness it's a rest day?

zrun - glad to see you're comeback is in full force

Jill - looks like you are flying. Sign up for a 10k and capture to make the most of the pixie dust.

FB - sounds like my runs of late. Keep plugging away.

4boys - Sounds like a foregone conclusion. What are the negatives of him doing a full?

RA - A winner. Definitely glad it's a rest day. Have a good "lunch"

Hello, everyone.

FL Boiler -- Good job getting it done. Sorry you were disappointed in the pace. Some days like that.

Jill -- Sounds like lovely running weather.

Zrun -- Nice 4.

Dan -- Enjoy the RD. :)

4Boys -- Don't know how you regularly swim a mile and a half like that. Long ways. :) And kudos to your son for joining the madness.

RA -- Have a good lunchtime run.

Me -- Six recovery, probably on the hotel 'mill, after seven miles last night on a windy, crowded and surly SF Embarcadero.

Looks like a rest day for me since DWs been working me to death getting down yard sale crap outta the attic ever since I walked thru the door. I wanted to run this morning since the weather was nice, I actually had to turn the a/c off in my truck on the ride home from work.

Nice runs out there

Back from camp and getting settled into a week or so of no real routine...just practice and hang out with the team. Time trial tomorrow, but I'm not too worried/excited for it since I will sit this season out to get in as much training as I can for track. I hope I can make my schedule still work with the team's though since I'd love to hang out with team. Lots of cool new freshmen and everyone else of course.

Off to pick up my books for this semester and chill out until practice.

7 or so lunch time miles running around one of the subdivisions by work. Managed not to get run over despite a number of attempts. Sunny, a bit warm but mostly pleasant.

BBS - a truck? I took you for a roadster type of guy? Have fun clearing the attic. I need to do the same.

kfuller - get that stuff done. Nice 5'er

Chances - hopefully the hotel has a nice TM...

Alex - Enjoy the new school year. No XC? Back to the 3000m / steeplechase? Spot Alex in this picture :)
