Two days in a row!

Good morning, all!

I'm up to run yesterday's run at 6:00 instead of 7:00 in the hopes that it won't be so bad out there. It rained on and off yesterday, but my house is uncomfortably warm. It's only 74*, so hopefully I can get my big, bad 30 minutes in.

How anyone can mix up Ole' Miss and the Stillers is beyond me

Back when I complete this sucker!

Morning!

Winter Thanks...keep them coming!

Prae Don't fret at all - you'll sail through the race no problem. The rush of the race is still amazing to me - what feels like a super-human pace in training feels like floating in a race. And besides, you need to get in shape for the Steelers 5k so you can finish on Heinz Field (I think it's late Sept? When I did that race it was July)

Brutal workout this morning - met a friend for 6 miles at tempo. We'd planned to do ~6:20-6:30 the first 3 and then try and pick it up - the first half mile we're huffing and puffing - 3:26! We got it down to 6:41 for the mile, then 6:28, 6:28, and coming back we picked it up to 6:09, 6:10, and I finished with a 5:55 (he dropped back a little). I'm pretty tired now - don't know if it's from the workout, the 4:50am wake up call, or the barfing child all night (talk about tough to fall asleep when you're afraid you might get puked on at any second!). I'm hoping to catch a nap later!

Later!

LLWiggleBerg We saw the Wiggles a few years ago - it was actually kind of entertaining (and not just because the # of MILFs there!) The A/C wasn't working properly and I thought the poor guys were going to pass out, dancing and singing and having a few thousand kids pawing at them. Congrats on the toof - what's the going rate at the Greenberg house? We did $5 for the first one and $1 thereafter...my sister goes $5 each! Hell, I'd knock my teeth out for $5 - that's almost a chipotle burrito! But then I realized I'd have to gum the burrito so I kept my day job.
Don't believe a word PacerWife says about my skillz...oh wait, you were referring to my workout this morning.

Fort Hose keeping score - it ended up NOT being the greatest day ever due in large part to the vomitous/diarrhea child we had last night - kinda took what slim chance I had for some boot-knockin' and killed the mood, particularly at 1am when she came into our bedroom, threatened to ralph and then hopped in bed with us for the night. I lay there from that point on thinking "If you fall asleep, don't do it with your mouth open in case she yacks on you in the middle of the night!"
Flemdawg Have you tried the Chocolate Lucky Charms? I swear I think they put crack in those things, that's how good they are. I always make sure to eat something before heading to the store so I don't get tempted by all the chocolatey cereals!

LLWiggleGroupie or would you be called a Wiggle Head?!
Dang - you beat me, I was going to tell CoolWhip to keep an eye out for PTom there without kids! I'm telling you though - it's like MILF-apalooza at those things!

PTom - Definitely try to get in some work with fast guys - you'd be amazed what that will do for you. No way could either of us run those hard tempo miles this morning alone - when I dropped my buddy in the last mile, we both said it was a lot harder solo. Some workouts you can do solo, but I've found that running in a group has really taken me to a new level. I have some faster guys that I improve with, and some slower guys that I run with to keep me in check on easier days.
Speaking of catcalls - other than my co-workers seeing me at lunch, we never get any love, but I did see a high school team out this morning...those little punks have zero fat on them! And the girls' team was just behind them - I felt like a dirty old man! Probably because I'm a dirty old man...

Winter - Nothing tops your visual. Once again - I thank you!

Thankfully I missed Winter changing her avatar...and I'm NOT ashamed to admit that I quickly found the picture by googling Supergirl and a host of other god pictures came up:

http://www.prometric.com.mx/serayala/supergirl.html

Supergirl is the best, Cat Woman is delicious (LOVE Halle Berry), and I lik the real picture of Spark. Violet intimidaes me though...
