Morning!

Winter Thanks...keep them coming!

Prae Don't fret at all - you'll sail through the race no problem. The rush of the race is still amazing to me - what feels like a super-human pace in training feels like floating in a race. And besides, you need to get in shape for the Steelers 5k so you can finish on Heinz Field (I think it's late Sept? When I did that race it was July)

Brutal workout this morning - met a friend for 6 miles at tempo. We'd planned to do ~6:20-6:30 the first 3 and then try and pick it up - the first half mile we're huffing and puffing - 3:26! We got it down to 6:41 for the mile, then 6:28, 6:28, and coming back we picked it up to 6:09, 6:10, and I finished with a 5:55 (he dropped back a little). I'm pretty tired now - don't know if it's from the workout, the 4:50am wake up call, or the barfing child all night (talk about tough to fall asleep when you're afraid you might get puked on at any second!). I'm hoping to catch a nap later!
