Two days in a row!

Good morning, all!

I'm up to run yesterday's run at 6:00 instead of 7:00 in the hopes that it won't be so bad out there. It rained on and off yesterday, but my house is uncomfortably warm. It's only 74*, so hopefully I can get my big, bad 30 minutes in.

How anyone can mix up Ole' Miss and the Stillers is beyond me

Back when I complete this sucker!

A little less sticky out there than Tuesday's run, a dewpoint of 70 degrees down from 72 2 days ago. I just ran a recovery jog today of 2.75 miles, taking it easy on my legs after Tuesday's tempo run and in view of my upcoming long run on Saturday to get me halfway to or slightly beyond halfway to half-marathon distance.
Winter, that sounds just lovely if it could get to here by Saturday. I've got my longest run yet coming, dewpoint of 50 degrees or 75 degrees. I'd prefer the 50. Call me crazy like that.
Roo, you should teach Hank how to keep your garden free of the insect intruders.
I've got a niece who's college age now (yipes!) and when she was younger the big singer for kids was Raffi/Raffey(?). I still remember Baby Beluga...
This is interesting to me because by necessity or near-necessity I live every day with a constant stream and feedback of numbers. So far today:

2:15 this morning, 72 mg/dl, eat 6 grams of carbs for some buffer.
5:15 AM, 133 mg/dl, 2u of Novolog.
6:35 AM, 159 mg/dl, 5u of Novolog for 30g of carbs
8:30 AM, 165 mg/dl, 7u of Novolog for 32g of carbs
10:30 AM, 60 mg/dl, 12g of carbs

You get the idea, I get kind of obsessed with the numbers at times and at times I want to freak out at all of it.

This morning when I ran I collected a whole bunch more of numbers about how long and my heart rate.

But while running it, I just tried to concentrate on running it with a comfortable feeling and thought a lot about how my form was. The numbers were derived from the comfortable feeling and the form.

Sometimes you need to let the numbers become a result of feeling and form.
