Morning Gang

I went out for a hilly, drizzly, wet, tree fallen, trail run and it was the best. The temp was about 46F and the tunes on the mp3 were good. Towards the end of the run, Johnny Be Goode then Iggy Pop and 'The Passenger' finishing with a Zero 7

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AEq62iQo0eU

Anyway: 10m 01:45:39 @ 10:34 pace AHR 152 WHR 71%

Nice, actually wonderful, 14.3 miles on rolling hills feeling sproinky. I was coughing before and after the run but not during. Maybe I'll just start runnin like Forrest Gump . I ran this one by HR trying to keep it in the 150's with upper 150's going uphills and lower 150's going down. This was a comfortable effort and I was surpirsed that the pace was around 8:30, in fact the last 7 miles averaged 8:22 with AHR 152. Just perfect.
14.3 miles in 2:04:33 (8:43 pace, AHR 154, max 161).

Have great runs!

7.03 miles of hills @ 9:10 pace....my last run before the Shamrock Marathon on Sunday.

Tomorrow is a travel day. I'm not bringing my laptop since I'm only going to be staying one night and driving back to NC right after the party on the beach. I won't have any time to use my computer.
See ya'll when I get back!

Wow- lots of morning runners here. jogger- I love Iggy Pop. I did 6ish or so miles of sleep-running this morning. Cloudy, calm, temp in the upper 20's. I'm sore in a lot of places - really looking forward to that ART visit this afternoon. Have a great day, all!

Check out the new template options also in the lower left hand corner. There's a new one, Aquateen and a full version of the Default style as well as the original. I know you old folks hate change but mix things up a bit

Good morning! Sweet trail run, Roy. Glad to see a smiley in dtoce’s post.
Nice haiku, tomwhite. Rinda ^5. Good luck, Peter! Rescheduled rest day, today instead of tomorrow. My sproinkometer has been heading south the last couple days and I think the legs need a rest. DH and I both have the day off. We just met with the builder. Framing will be finished next week and we will have walk-throughs with the electrician and cabinet people next week. They got a lot done this past week in IB(uilding)C! It will be exciting to see the changes when we go out there today. Have a great day.

I'll wish you good luck over here too, Peter!

Did 30 minutes of fairly hard stationary cycling this morning. It looks like that does not bother my hip, so I can look forward to getting on the bike (if not running) as soon as it clears up a bit more outside. It seems like we've started to turn the corner towards Spring recently, although we get fooled about that a lot around here.
