The list of people who have participated is now unwieldy. I'd like to format it in a table, perhaps 4 wide and 7 deep, with each cell being sorted alphabetically. It would take up less space than the current listing and would allow people greater ease of access and clarity.

Only... I can't cut and paste a table into a post.

Any ideas? HTML? what?

This seems like something Mustang Sally would know how to do.....I think. Do you mind if I PM her this question?

I think vBulletin knows about tables. Try pasting an HTML table (e.g. from here) into the editor and look at the nifty knobs and dials you get! But then when you preview the post, the table is gone and only the cell contents remain. My guess is that this is because HTML is disabled on the site.

The question of how to make a table came up a while back in the masters forum, and the best I could come up with was to use a code block and line things up with spaces.
