Hi! No "t" in Kris either, but here I am. I know Lichfield Hills and sdp from the 30s, but not too many of the rest of you folks, so I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Unfortunately, next week is a scheduled step-back week for me, so it seems like I'm already an anchor.

Hi everyone-

I'm Kris, and I'm grad student in astronomy at the University of Arizona. I'm coming up on my 1 year running anniversary, so that's exciting. I'm currently training for the Philly HM, running 5 or 6 days a week. I'm trying to get back to swimming as well. I missed my swim this morning, but I snuck it in this afternoon. Yeah, anchor was appropriate in more ways than one!

I'm sorry for your loss, Tithers.

100K Hippo?!?! I knew your name from my short time lurking in the CH, and I guess I knew you were a Maniac, but wow, you Ultra runners never cease to impress and amaze me.

Tim and Sara already know me (hi guys!), but it's nice to meet you Billy, Keith, and fatmantrying.

Going to go over and post my swimming points now.

Hi Courtney!

100 miles?!?! In 80*+ heat?!?! Wow....Do you have a finishing time in mind, Hippo? I've always been curious about how Ultras work. Do you stop to change/shower/eat? I'm not sure I could stay awake long enough to make the cut-off, let alone have to actually cover the 100 miles.

Just checkin' in. I was supposed to swim this morning, but we were flash flooded into our house. I'll try to pick up some points for us this afternoon, assuming the pool is open. (Why the heck would you close a pool for rain?!?!)

Good to have another Arizonan on the team, Billy. Maybe we'll cross paths at the Tucson Marathon. I'll either be watching or running on a relay team.

Hippo, the start is actually up in the Foothills right around sunrise, so I think typical start temps are in the 30's. The course is down hill the whole way, and things heat up as the Sun beats down. Typical finishing temps are in the 60's.

Missed my swim yesterday do to weather, but I'm going to try to make it up today.

Billy, I'm a UofA grad student, hopefully class of 2008. I'll definitely write up a RR if I manage to recover reasonably well after my HM in Philly, and get team together for Tucson.

OK, my cut-back week is over, so I can hopefully start putting I the points I signed up for. My plan called for 200 pts this week, but the frackin' University closed the pool for the first half of the week. I'll try to get as close to 200 as I can without the swims.
