OK...I came up with four distinctly different logos. Amazing how the creative juices flow when you're sitting in an airport waiting to hear if they've canceled your flight home. These are the B&W images but we can make them any color we want. Thoughts, input, other ideas appreciated.

Me...I'm partial to the third one but will go with whatever the majority decides. Not sure what color though. Maybe a red or a dark blue.

ETA...a poll. I like polls.

i like 3 but I also like just an LIT
I was thinking colors yesterday. Something bright. I always put little man in bright orange or bright green to find him easy in a crowd. There is always a bunch of red in a crowd. it might be hard to pick out?

Wow, hobey, thanks for doing these! I really like #3... even though I don't know what the graphic is... it's kind of evocative of tri logos, but not... which is an ideal note to hit for a Multisport team.

Nice work on them all!

I like 3 and 4, but the poll will only let me choose one. So I'm not choosing.

I think I would like #4 even more if Lost In Transition were spelled out instead of abbreviated. Maybe with one word at the point of each arrow or something.

Thanks for working on this!

That is a cool idea. Lost on the left arrow, in on the top arrow and transition on the right arrow. Or the words spelled out but in a wave pattern under the arrow thingy.

Awesome job on this. Thanks.

Hey!! Awesome proposals!!! My thoughts...

Strikes a "nuclear fallout shelter" chord with me.

Simple. "Standard." But I doubt anyone (other than us) will have any clue what "LIT" stands for. Since we'll interact much more with people outside our group, I'd like something more explicit.

I like the logo part a lot. The label feels a bit un-integrated. What if it followed the contour of the top line or something?

I like the implication of the multiple arrows and the boldness of them. Again, I don't think the abbreviation will mean much so I support the words within suggestions.

So... I voted "Other."

Damn jet lag.....*sigh*

Feedback noted and incorporated. New ideas below. I don't know how to edit the poll so I'll start a new one once we narrow it down to the top three choices.

TASM hit it with #3. I wanted something to denote MS in a few lines so a small explanation:
Top curve + circle = swim
Circle + bottom curve = run
Whole thing = bike (top curve is an abstract helmet in the wind)

GREAT stuff!!!

If you have to explain it... Just sayin'.

I still really like that logo. I don't think the letters are right yet. I don't think the shadow thing works so well on a T-shirt and such. I'd rather see a simpler font. With caps on the L, I, and T.

I like the last one two... Maybe reverse it - solid arrows with white letters. I think that would be bolder. And again, I'd like caps on LIT.

Dude...you're really stressing out my limited graphics skills here.

The one thing I don't like about the last one is that it doesn't resize well and I don't think it will transfer well to a hat or visor, whether embroidered or heat set.

My current favorites are the top 2 new ones. I need to see if I can get rid of that shadow.

No worries. I've been using a lot of canned stuff but it looks like I need to break out PSP or the Gimp now. I can't figure out how to ditch the shadow.

Ditched the shadows, capitalized letters. Here's the third iteration.

We need some more opinions in her but...

I don't think the curve of the letters compliments the image.

I think this one looks pretty good!! Very bold.

I think this one is looking sharp too!

Not bad either - but I understand the scaling concern.

So... I'd now vote for #2 or #3.

I like the one with the curves and the circle.

There might be a way to get the words to follow the top of the top curve.....rather than being their own curve....
I think that when they have their own "line" they become disjointed....
And,....
depending on who ends up making the merchandise....he he he
you might be able to fade the words a bit near the end....
as if they're becoming lost...know what I mean?

Great job on these, seriously!!! Did we decide what we're putting our new kick ass logo on?
