hi team,<br><br>
here's the weekly poop.<br><br>
1. there's talk of each team having a Asst. Captain. I know it's been hard to keep up with everything at times between our varying schedules.<br>
if anyone would like to volunteer, please let me know.<br><br>
2. There plans to change the scoring system. there will still be daily thread reporting. this is due to the basic morale boost and smak talking that public posting creates. however there will be a database entry in addition. if you keep up with it it's easy to do. if you have trouble let me know and as a captain i can add/edit anyone on my team.<br>
Team L has been one of the Beta testers and trying to find out problems. Yeah i found a big one that Hairy Trotter is fixing. however please verify your scores. i've re-entered everyones correcting it but i'm only human and at 2 am i was wee bit tired when i noticed the error started the corrections.<br><br>
3. I've contacted our no shows and asked thier intentions. we've only got two no-shows and one we know have been very sick. there are some folks that are VRAA in waiting, we could go into the mid season draft<br><br>
everything for this week #2, Team L please post in this thread or PM me if ya don't want it public.<br><br>
4. Last and not least. y'all are doiing great. some can do better though ( this is laying on the guilt part). some are doing stellar. we had a great showing last week and for SherpaJ but we have fallen back, me included on my weight training. so i am calling for a rally this week. if you can add 25% more points over the course of the week. we can gain some great momentum.<br><br><span style="font-size:x-large;"><span>KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TEAM L</span></span>

I have some time, this time of year and would help out if needed Chuck just let me know what you need me to do.<br><br>
Keep racking up Points team, we in the Northeast are in for some good snow tonite I think, I hope it does not force me inside too much.<br>

Hey Team, nice weekend scores this week! Some awesome numbers - I think Saturday was our highest-scoring day ever?<br><br>
(Can you tell I have a paper due this next week? - I'm spending all my time on other stuff, like looking at the VRAA postings)<br><br>
School/job starts again for me on Monday <img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif"> and my paper is due at the end of the week, so I will try to do what I can - planning on at least 53 miles for the week & whatever cross-training I can fit in (like biking to school in the snow - yeehaw).<br><br>
The database entry sounds great - how do we verify the scores?<br><br>

there will/is an edit feature so that you can look at all your entries and double check them.<br><br>
i got a mail from Hairy Trotter saying he has already done so though. so just keep track of all pounts going into the new database so you can review those.

I checked the database (linked in roots' Commissioners Update: Score Reporting thread), and I'm there, all my points up to Sherpa J day are there. My next run wasn't until today, so do you want us to add runs in on that vraa.mootness.net site, or do you do that?<br><br>
Will keep trying to get runs in, thanks again for kicking me in the pants,<br>

Hey Chuck,<br>
I just checked out my points, on the link, to see if I could do better this week. I am down for 53 pts, I checked through my threads and I should be at 235 pts. I wrote them down and can edit them myself, but I wanted to check with you first.<br>

I will get you some extra points this week. Mostly two a days some three a days if I include weight training.<br><br>
Anyhow, I was not able to get into the scoring thead/link. It very well be my work firewall not letting me in. Will check later and once I get home.<br><br>

OK, I was able to log on to the new scoring link. I updated all of my points for yesterday and today.

Alright....... Let's see if we can pickup an extra 250 pts. to get out of the basement. Looks to be mid race and groups are starting to develop. Are you going to drop from the race?, hang with your group?, lead your group? or catch the group ahead of you! I just searched through the threads and updated my days with the scoring tool. It was at 53 and should have been 284 so it moved us up to 2nd worst team. I am going to add on more today with a double, bike at noon, gym at 4. Lets keep the bus rolling.<br><br>

I haven't seen but a few posts by you, so sorry. go ahead and edit your score to reflect it. if you can cpoy and paste the screenprint in a PM to me of your scores

I signed up for the scoring site and updated my points yesterday. Everything looked right, just a few recent days missing.<br><br>
Keep up the good work everyone! We'll climb our way up that leader board, I just know it!

hi team. yeah i've been slacking this week on adding points. just haven't had the time this week to go thru the threads.<br><br>
If you could please. edit your scores in the Database. do a PRINTSCREEN of your name's score only and paste in PM and PM me. thank you.<br><br><br>
ALSO WELCOME OUR NEWEST MEMBER RUGBY. RUGBY will be taking the place of Sarah 46. :wavey: So Rugby, tell us about yourself. your going tio be scoring about 300 points a day, right?<br><br>
Calliope. as soon as you can start posting points like a mad women.

No worries Chuck, I think it is b/c my sig is not orange. It seems like we have kind of picked orange as everyones sig line color. Mine is black. I am going to enter mine in daily after the post if OK with you, no sense in you doing any more work than you already do.<br><br>
