Good morning everyone! I want to give you a quick update.

I haven't submitted a scoring update since Friday night. I wouldn't be surprised if we were behind on points for that reason. I'll look through the weekend threads tonight and do some updating.

Please do take a look at the new scoring database tool that Hairy Trotter has thoughtfully provided for us. It's a good tool and it should be supported. I think it is important that we continue to post in the daily thread. Really, the daily thread is the game, along with talking with your teammates and, oh yeah, doing your workouts. I think the database is easy to use and shouldn't pose you any problems. However, if you don't want to use it, just let me know and I will happily enter your points for you as I have been.

In Da Roolz, I said team members, including me, should communicate ("Talk To Us". Well, I don't want to, but I will. I had a disaster of a race on Sunday, DNF at mile 2 (!), and I really aggravated my IT band. This may be ballgame for me for this round. At the very least, I'm going to take complete rest for this week. I can walk with a stiff leg limp. Bending the knee can be an exercise in pain.

I'm still angry and disappointed in myself. I take some solace in the fact that I only entered the race to help a friend. Despite my being unable to continue with her, she was able to run a great race, missing her goal time by less than 2 minutes and getting a negative split on her very first half marathon!

OK, that was a lot higher word count than I planned to use. Gotta go. More later.
