Holy cow! I hardly need to change my write-up at all. We did a truly, truly outstanding job for the First (Full) Week.

Here are our goals for the next week, really for every week from here on out. These are the minimums based on level, usually rounding up. You can get points many ways, of course, but I'll fill in a mileage equivalent FYI. This is for the entire week (Mon-Sun). I will try to post an update to our scores on Thursday or Friday (for the Weekday War) and Sunday or Monday (for the weekends)

Mega Super - 200 points, 50 miles
Super - 120 points, 30 miles
Bad - 60 points, 15 miles
BAIT - 0 points, anything you do is above your minimum!

OK, it is now my pleasure to report our points. Please tell me if you see any scoring errors so I can fix them. I think everyone surpassed their goals.

I'm mostly using the data from Trotter's Tool (I love saying that!). As of 10pm EST on 1/14, it is current through the end of 1/13. Some of you have already started to input 1/14 data. So, if you don't see your name on a given day, that means I don't have points for you for that day. Let me know so I can fix it - or you can enter into the new database if you wish.

Great work! Billy, my day 4 total should be 21 pts vice 29. Otherwise great job.. Its not easy looking through all the posts and keeping the books.
I bet if we had all of IEatHills4Meals points added in we would be in first place

We are doing awesome, keep up the great work everyone!!
Grrr! I have a mental block on you. I always get your points wrong. At least I have recognized the problem and am correcting. Thanks for checking for me!!!
Me - Boston Buildup 15 K in Ridgefield CT. Gonna man up and run even though the current forcast is for a high in the teens.
Registrations closed and no walkups There's a limit due to the size of the park/parking restrictions.

I'm sure he would take volunteers though... but that wouldn't help us points wise.
bummer
Ok this may not be a 50k trail race but gotta love Ron (the race director of Pretzel City Sports)

I JUST got off the Chilly Cheeks course where I used a high powered leaf blower for 3 1/2 hrs non-stop, which left my right hand shaking so much afterwards that I'm afraid to touch myself; lest I enjoy it too much. Tomorrow, I'll spend another 4 hrs doing the same. Ah, the glamorous life of being a race director! Last year, I had JUST enough time to develop the Chilly Cheeks course and measure it. Now that I've have time to "absorb the bombasticnesss of it all", all I could keep asking myself as I toured the trails was "who is the sadistic mother who conceived this abomination?" , fully well knowing that "I" was the answer. This is a race that many of you should run to just "finish"; the uphills are VERY challenging but are still surpassed in utter silliness by the downhills where you dare not open it up or you run the risk of becoming airborne. If there are STILL people out there that think "how hard can 7.2 Miles be", I think I can honestly say that this event is the hardest one Pretzel City Sports holds, on a per mile basis. Having said that, darn near anyone can finish it but only the fittest of the fit will finish it FAST!

Really makes me want to race it JUST to see how fit I am. Of course that would be risking my marathon training (I twisted my ankle during a 30k trail race that he created as well) and I learned my lesson the last trail race of his that I did.
