It's pouring rain here in NY. I did 12 minutes of elliptical and 1 hour of yoga today, plus I added in the 5 points for our "alternative workout bonus". According to Hairy, we should simply note it as a race bonus. A little strange, but I'll take those extra 5 points!<br><br>

The VRAA already motivated me to do an hour of pilates on a rest day. Since I teach it 4x/week I don't regularly practice on my own (although I should).<br><br>
I am in the process of moving and scheming to see if that would count for an alternate activity! If shoveling snow could, couldn't hauling boxes?<br><br>

ok question here......For alt workouts, can you get the 5 point bonus on both days this weekend, Sat & Sunday? Or is a one-time thing for the weekend. I need an official ruling.<br><br>
The way i understood it was it was you only get it one time for the whole weekend. As long as you did some sort of alt workout during the whole weekend you got the bonus points.<br><br><br>

I'm baaaack! Ok, so I just logged my points for the past 4 days in the database, and I have a bit of a moral dilemma- it adds up to a whole bunch: 240pts over 4 days. I asked Billy about XC skiing and Tele skiing in the General discussion thread, and he said to log them as General Cardio, which it certainly felt like as I was hauling my kiester up the snow covered hills and then telemarking back down again. However that's the equivalent of 60 miles running, and I'm not sure I can in good conscience claim the equivalent of 60 miles running. I had much more fun than that! <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>
