Yesterday at noon I was so tired I seriously considered leaving work and going home for a nice nap. I sure didn't feel like a run. But I sat down in a chair in a large storage closet we have, dozed for 30 minutes and was a new person the rest of the day. Did 6 1/2 miles like it was nothing later yesterday.

I should be able to get at least that much in if not a few more in for my self allotted hour of running tonight.

Well folks, it's been fun. Tomorrow makes our final day running together. I found a friend who has a group doing a 17 mile run tomorrow morning at 5:30 (at Riverside Park in Roswell for those of you who know the Atlanta area) so that's going to be my final contribution.

But I know I've been much more vigilant this past month getting my runs in whether on the road or treadmill thanks to your letting me run with Team C.

I would also like to alert you to a very nice inaugural marathon/half-marathon being held in Jacksonville, Florida February 17, 2008. The funds raised go to breast cancer research. The course will be along the Jacksonville Beach area and looks relatively flat. Check out www.breastcancermarathon.com and if you go I'll see you there in February.

Bobby, have a great run tomorrow! And I am planning on being there in Jacksonville! One of the ladies I run with is making it her first marathon, and raising funds in honor of a niece who succumbed to breast cancer. So I'll be joining her there.

As for Team C, it was a pleasure to compete with all of you. I'll get my long run in tomorrow and help to seal the deal, hopefully.
