Hey everyone!<br><br>
No need to worry about me busting out any 50 mile weeks like tigger. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">
lol me either. Slow and steady that is me.<br><br>
Being a <img alt="sign4.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sign4.gif"> runner means I won't be making any huge points, but I promise to do my best.
I'm embarrassed to report in with a heat related chafing issue.<br><br>
YOUCH!!!!!!<img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif"><img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif"><img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif"><br><br>
Which makes no sense at all. I went just as far on two different days earlier this week in the same damn shorts. Hell, I've never had chafing problems.... Anyway, I hope to be back out Monday.
I used to not chafe either and all of sudden, I was chafing my underbooby, followed later on by my inner thighs, then my lower back, then the area of my back that my sports bra, then my waist and uh, I think those are the only places thus far.
ouch! chafing is the worst. especially the shower afterwards! I used to chafe something awful under the bottom part of my bra when I would run > 4 miles. Thank goodness I figured out how to make it stop or marathon training would've been torture!
<br>
So far? <img alt="laughing7.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/laughing7.gif"><br><br>
I hear ya!<br><br>
I know for me in SE Texas it has to do with the heat and humidity and being totally soaked in sweat in less than 30 minutes, but like I said, I was really surprised it was <i>so bad</i> after no issues earlier this week or like you said, over the last couple of years.<br><br>
And yes diablita, that shower was not very damn pleasant!<img alt="sad2.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad2.gif">
chafing is simply extreme efoliation in places where dead skin cell removal is not usually an issue.<br><br>
cowboy the fvck up people!<br><br>
yes, my Mr. John Thomas is chaffed after my long run and my post run shower was a nightmare
So yesterday while I was mesmerized by a very cute lorry, a couple of ants went to town on my feet. Three bad bites. I won't be able to wear my running shoes for another day or two. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> Tonight will probably be the elliptical trainer in sandals.<br><br>
I'm referring to the nasty ant that did this as "Ant-ag"
I have pain when I press on my inside calf (where the calf and boney part meet), so I will be getting in fewer miles than normal this week also. I will be doing a race though, so Xtra pts hooray!
Ya...we're not doing so hot right now are we guys...I'll work my core to the max and bike a lots I promise. I'm still pulling for us though...it's a long ways away to the finish.<br><br>
Go Cojones!
