Well, I'm here. As you can tell by my low post count, I'm a newbie to these boards and to the VRAA, so I don't know quite what happens here.<br><br>
I'm starting out this VRAA with a head cold and hope it doesn't progress to something worse which would totally ruin any points production. Be off for a short run in a bit--first one since a 10k on Saturday.<br><br>

Howdy all.<br><br>
This is my 4th go-around in the VRAA as a player, my 3rd as commissioner. Each time around, the game has grown. It's good to see all the new faces.<br><br>
My volume has taken a nosedive in October and November the last two years. I blame my usually cushy job, which gets real busy every year at about this time. I am hoping the VRAA gives me a nudge to keep going this year. It has worked that way for me in the past. I also don't have any major races planned in the next few weeks, so I can't blame any dips in productivity on tapering and recovering.<br><br>

(even though I registed in March, I didn't start posting til about a month ago)<br><br>
This will be fun! I do have a HM in a few wks, but I generally hit this little depression/slump after something like that, so this is probably the boost I need to keep me going and keep me motivated. I was excited to be on the same team as McTortle. Minnesota peeps are too cool. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/headbang.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="headbang"><br>

For now, I am swimming my ass off, water running, doing free weights and core... but hopefully next week I might have a sweet surprise from my bone scan. We shall see...
