Hi Team!

Please do these things:
1) introduce yourself to the team - if you need or want anything from the team, let us know
2)Suggest a team name

I try to keep track of everyone and send a PM if I don't see you post as regularly or if your points are way below what you signed up for. If you have an injury or taper or just a bad week and want to be left alone, send me a PM first;) It's never my intention to nag!

Rest up today and tomorrow and rack up the points starting Friday

We're number one! We're number one!

Don't mind me. I'm even more sleep-deprived than normal.

I'm Theia, I'm on the Libra/Scorpio cusp, and I am gunning for a 10K PR this fall. I've been on five -- count 'em, FIVE -- winning VRAA teams so far. Six is a nice number, dontcha think?

VRAA veteran rugby reporting. I'm hoping to pick up my miles this round and do a fair bit of walking too. I coach youth football as well and try to workout with the players as much as I can racking up alt workout pts.

It's kinda cool the teams are so small. I remember a couple years ago when there would be like 6 or 7 teams of like 12-15 players. That was fun too.

Anyhow, I'm here.

Tech Tee here. Reporting in. Trying to get my ass back in shape.

I signed up as low level mega. Hope I can do it, because, now that it's dark earlier, and colder, I won't be getting the bike miles in that I did last round.

Plus we don't get the bonus for stretching...

Good day all. I have played many rounds, won some, lost some; it is all about have fun for me and meeting new people.

I initially signed up as a Titanium, but changed to super mega due to an pending injury. I will cut back on the running and try and make it all up on the bike. Not sure if I will be able to do it though. If my knee comes around I will be back at it hard and training for a November marathon.

I think maybe we should just keep our name! We are going to win anyhow so it fits; RIGHT?!

Happy Training everyone!

I can't sleep! It is kinda like the night before the big race. Anxiety is setting in; did I remember everything, am I ready, am I hydrated enough, did I eat right, etc, etc, etc. Oh no, where are my shoes? Oh yeah they are in my running bag.

Ok, David's kinda funny. But, it's not funny that our dear Theia has had zero sleep this week for real!

Oookay. Off to class for me. I have a 6am workout scheduled in the morning. I'm going to try to get to 5:15 spin class before that.

Wow what a Team! Welcome to VRAA Cus and hello to everyone! I signed up as Mega this round. Some good races but not so many training miles because I've got some good races! I start with a 5k on the 26th to see how taper is going. On 10/3 it's the Lewis & Clark Marathon in St. Charles and finishes with a 50k on 10/10 at our local state park. I'll still lift weights a couple of times each week but my points will be stacked around the races this round. Tomorrow is 200 meter repeat day!

Great team! It's going to be nice being back on the same side with some of y'all.

I signed up as a Titanium, just because that's about the level I've been reaching over the last several weeks. I'll do my damndest to get there and stay there. My training tends to fall off in October thanks to my work schedule, and I'd really like to keep that from happening so that I don't go back to square one in the off-season. Triathlon season is over, and I don't have any big goal races on the horizon, but I'm doing random little road races for fun most weekends and commuting some by bike while the weather's good and otherwise getting in a lot of nickel and dime stuff that adds up to VRAA points.

We'll need about 5 people to keep up with Gobi....

Good morning team.

Theia - Hope you got some sleep last night.

Started this round off with a 17.5 mile run. The knee really didn't bother me too much time about mile 9 or so. It is letting know its not happy with me now. We'll see how it turns out.

Hi, everyone! I'm Praecipua (pronounced pry-kip'-oo-a) and shortened to Prae. While that's Latin for extraordinary, my fitness of late has not added up to my name. In fact, this morning I accidentally turned off my alarm instead of snoozing so I missed my walk. I will try to get some stretching in this evening for some first day points and make up for my slackerness this weekend. I have actually NEVER been on a winning VRAA team and I'm starting to get a little paranoid. You folks may be my salvation, or you'll confirm to me that I am a gigantic loser. Either way, I'm trying to lose weight and VRAA is a good motivator. I'll try to be my little badass self and help on the margins.

I am up at 4:30 every morning, no later than 5! Isn't that normal?

I am lucky if I get 6 hours of sleep a night. But it doesn't matter what time I go to bed, I don't need an alarm clock, I just get up between 4:30 and 5:00.

Almost all of my workouts start during hours of darkness and during the winter months I might not see the sun until after I am finished.
