Actually no, it's Silver Needle, leaf.

I alternate with my current absolute favourite, a Green Chai blend prepared and sold by friends of ours here in town, called "Emerald Lake Chai".

It is named after one of the most amazingly beautiful places on God's Green Earth...

And it never fails to refresh and bring me to that happy place. Hmm. Beer does that too.

My teas will seem like rot-gut in comparison.

Typhoo decaf, for evenings

Twinings, black with blackcurrent flavoring

Yamamotoyama oolong

I drink them through a straw now, on account of the staining. But I'm not sure it helps.

I went without caffeine for so long. I really overdid it in college and ended up forswearing it for 25 years. The summer I turned 50 my tea trader friend offered me some Yunan and I realized that I had deprived myself of a world of flavour for too long. For my 50th my wife conspired with them to create a tea sampler for me of 50 varieties. I am still working my way through it.

Ooolong, Darjeeling Poobong (don't laugh), Yunan, green teas and blacks, Rooibos and other herbal blends including the delightful Honeybush.

I do recall with fondness your Twining's flavoured tea...

This reminds me of my newest "tea" obsession.

I grate a pile of fresh ginger. I put the ginger in a metal tea-ball-strainer-thing, and steep it. I add milk and sweetner.

Not real tea, I know.

I based it on a "tea" I got at a local Asian, boba-style snack shop, (there are millions of them in California.) I decided I could make it cheaper, at home!

It's good. Really good.

I just "got" this. I was wondering, "gee, coachie is thirsty. Big whoop."

But I just noticed the coffee part.

I was making my tea one morning and a co-worker said, "Like the bergamot, huh?" I had no idea what he was talking about. It's right on the Twinings label.
