I love 50°, but not in a downpour.

Got caught out in one about half mile into 3 this morning. And wasn't dressed for it, so the stupid reynauds fired up. Took 2 hands to open the door when I got home.

Back from my MRI. I have a CD with the images I will look at in a bit. And I did actually sigh up for the HM tomorrow (after a glass of wine).

Good luck Moe and Missy and Maria. Beautiful day out there.

DD and I volunteered at a 5k bright and early this morning. Very fun. Off to a movie with DS soon and just gonna lay low. Hope the rest of the TCM peeps have fun at the expo and Crane's tonight. See you guys tomorrow!

Oh - I got a $500 giftcard from redstargiftcards.com? in my TCM goodie bag. WTF? $500? A scam? Did anyone else get one too. Looks like the place sells sunglasses. I would hope the TCM people wouldn't put something that is a scam in the expo goodie bags. Weird.

Good runs to all today!

I am at the shore today. OMG it is gorgeous today -- humidity's gone (and so is the tightness in my leg! weird!) and it's a bit chilly, but the sun is warm. I got out for a brisk bike ride early this morning. It was 47*! Whoa! Would've been a perfect morning for a run

I had a fun race this morning. It was cold (40s) and REALLY windy. The course is also a complete bear with a huge hill just after mile one. But I do it every year with a bunch of my running buddies and we always have a great time. Today was no exception. My time was 22:43, which is slow for me, but I felt good overall. They changed the course though, so I didn't realize I was coming up to the finish line until the last minute. I should have been paying better attention and kicked into a higher gear earlier.

Overall kind of a rough day though. I have a wicked headache and just feel sick and shakey. Ick. I plan to have a very low-key night.

Late check in for me... beeeeeaaaaauuuuutiful morning here! And so very happy to have the chance to run with Missy again. The race started at 10:00 and I'd originally planned to run to the start, run the race and run part of the way home - well, that didn't work after I ate something this morning and fell back asleep for a bit. So I subway'ed it there and took the long way home. The 5K with Missy was so much fun and it was so awesome to meet a bunch of the other midwives she works with and all of their adorable children! And of course spending time adoring the lovely Alessandra - she's so gorgeous! And she participated in the race too, walking with another midwife and good friend of Missy's. After the 5K I ran back into Manhattan and swirled a bit to get some much needed mileage. Ended up with a bit over 17 for the day, which I'll take. My right heel (PF) and left Achilles were being brats in the last 6 or so miles - don't like that.

Great job Mindi!!!!

Have fun racers!

The local outfitters where I purchased my awesome new hiking boots (well used on my recent road trip) has hikes every Sunday morning. I thought about it last night but didn't set an alarm or anything. Turns out I woke up early enough to go, even considering I have to plan on 45 min drive to get to the hike, so I'm gonna get dressed and do it. I've hiked at that particular park before and even on the specific trail they are using. It's not my favorite by any means, but it's nice enough and I need to get out today before I spend the rest of the day parked on the couch watching football again, haha!

Looks like boB & Cindi are running together! Through 10K around 55 mins

KP is through 5K around 39 mins

Although that could be way off, the TCM tracking isn't providing splits based on chip time (I don't think), they're providing me what clock time the runners are passing certain points so in example it says Kevin passed 5K at 8:39 a.m. so the splits may be off a bit
