Ok girls, I need some help.

I need a tankini type two piece suit. No bikini. I need something with real support up top. Not just some lined suit. If you know of a suit with a GOOD shelf bra, or a supportive softcup/underwire top, with comfy bottoms... I'd love boy shorts on the bottom, but I'd settle for not super high cut bikini style briefs.

The key is a supportive top. I can't be all saggy. I'm a 38D.

Try Lands End.
They have suits like that.

Don't know how revealing you want, but they've got lots of mix/match choices as well.
They're online too.

I have to have the same thing, and I found my suit last year at Kohl's. It is a halter style with good support up top (soft cups). Mine has a skirt bottom, but they had a bunch with boy shorts and others last year. They even have separates in case you need a different size on top and bottom. That's the way to go! Mix and match. I would look at Lands End as well, though.

I'll definitely head over to Kohls. They run their sales on Wednesdays, I think. Maybe I can pop in tomorrow!

Have you guys with larger chests had good luck with halter tops? It just seems like I'd be tying them up, and it wouldn't be very supportive...

WY--I HAVE had good luck with halter tops--not sure how much support you are in need of, I certainly would not be doing a tri in one--but to go to the beach or pool--they are fine. But to do any type of exercise in it--NO--would not hold the girls in. But, I like the halter cause I can adjust it enough so my girls are draggin' on the ground---lol

I've found that halter styles tend to give me a neckache if I wear them for to long since the back of my neck winds up giving all of the support and bearing the weight. Nevertheless I tend to wear them because I can kind of tie myself in and get better support than most other top styles I've tried.

Hmmm... interesting!

I am mostly referring to a suit I can swim in at the rec center, and probably wear this summer at the Res.

When I do a tri, I wear my super duty sports bra with my tri shorts! No running in a bathing suit for sure!!

I went to Kohls today and found one that is a nike tankini with a racerback top with soft cups. And boy shorts. It's ok. I'm going to try it on some more at home before I decide 100% to keep it.
