I can't get the marshmallow sweet potato concoction that my grandma makes out of my head. How do you eat your sweet taters?

If you do fries, what do you season them with?

Usually i peel them then slice them into rounds about 1/4-1/3 inch thick. I take a cookie sheet with tin foil sprayed with PAM and spread them out on the sheet. I then spray them with olive oil spray and sprinkle Lawry's seasoned salt on them. I bake them at 350F for about 15 minutes, then i flip them, respray and season, and then bake for about 10 more minutes. They should be a bit crisp and browned (not burnt) and soft in the center. OMG. so yummy.

I also have a sweet potato barley recipe that is to die for, but it is at home.

I like them as oven baked fries.

I like them baked, either in the microwave or the oven. A little bit of Mrs. Dash on them is all I need.

I do about what meri does to make fries, or I just microwave/steam the taters and eat them like baked white potatoes.

If I do the baked potato version, I season them in a really weird way -- I mix in some roasted red pepper hummus. It tastes good to me, but again, it's weird. I've also mixed in Splenda, Smart Balance "buttery spread," and cinnamon (and NOT the hummus) for a sweeter variation.

I slice 'em up, and bake them with some garlic salt, italian seasoning, and paprika.

I do love the sugar/marshmallow concoction, but hard to justify most days of the year.

I avoid them whenever possible. I avoid them more when marshmallows are involved in their preparation. The other ideas seem good though...they're good for me, but I jes' don' like 'em.

Nothing new to add, I like them roasted or grilled mainly. I do have a recipe for Thanksgiving that I make at other times a year, like when I do a pork roast. It's from Cooking Light so it's pretty healthy, and I further substitute egg beaters for eggs, fat free half and half, and Splenda for the sugar and it works just fine. My dad loves it and he hates anything he thinks is healthy!
