Tonight a lady in the grocery store told me to make these, and she is a genius!

I cut a sweet potato in wedges, then tossed the wedges in olive oil, sprinkled in Mrs. Dash and chili powder.

Bake on a cookie sheet at 400 degrees F for about 30 minutes, until they are tender.

I sprinkled on some salt after they were cooked, and it was AWESOMELY DELICIOUS.

I'll try this.

It reminds me of the roasted sweet potatoes that Whole Foods has on their salad bar. Their overly priced salad bar!

Afterwards, my only regret was that I prepared only one sweet potato in this fashion.

i usually peel the potato then slice it in discs (does that make sense?) about 1/4 inch thick at the most. Then i lay them on a baking sheet (sprayed with pam) then i spray them with pam, sprinkle Lawry's seasoned salt OR salt and pepper on them. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, flip, respray and season, bake about 10-12 minutes. YUMMY. Yes, i never make enough

I might like sweet potatoes (with an "e" or without? I can never remember) in this way. I don't much care for them, although I know they are good for me.
