You know what makes me panic? Overhearing the guy in a nearby cubicle telling his wife he has pinkeye. Yeah. And wondering how many surfaces in our building he has touched. *shudder*

While it is an inconvenience I actually appreciate doctors who don't automatically prescribe antibiotics. I am angry when they give them out for viruses. Gah.

If it wasnt' for antibiotics I'd have lost my left leg below the knee when I was 10. Because of a super bug my father's life was likely cut much shorter than otherwise. These stories make me very frustrated.

These stories make me very scared. I wonder how long it will be before we (meaning the Earth's inhabitants) actually experience a post-apocalyptic world? If I had to choose though, I'd vote for a super bug wiping out most of the population rather than a nuclear holocaust.
