Morning running peeps!

Well, I thought I lived on the East Coast but it feels more like Chicago! Yesterday ran with my TnT running group into the wind. I do have to admit that it was kinda cool when the wind was at my back and pushing me along... My pace turned out better than I expected plus running in a group always help to push you. 6m total.

Jill -finally found the LHVRR club house!!

Got a new pair of kicks yesterday. Stopped at Jill's neighborhood Finish Line in Emmaus. They didnt carry the brand I usually get (Nike) so I took the plunge and tried a new shoe. Brooks Ghost. They feel good so I am looking forward to breaking them in.

Today is rest for me so everybody enjoy the day and happy trails to all those running/racing.

Apple--I sent the wind your way just for you! I think that's what made my run suck so bad yesterday.

Fishbowl for me this morning. Usual 2500m and it rocked! I feel like I'm finally getting back to where I was two seasons ago.

And the kicker--I came home to find out that hubby attempted to burn down the house yet again with a Pop Tart. Since the first Pop Tart incident, the rule is you watch the stupid thing. But, alas, hubby got distracted. Doing what you might ask? Queing up "Burning Down the House". Kid you not. Son4 asked if he could make pancakes. I said not while Dad and I are at church, lest he attempt to burn down the house. Boys......

Jill--just a 15? ho hum?

jebba!!!!!! What's up with the bike???? sorry, couldn't resist........

Asics--please tell me you aren't sending that sleet my way?

Afternoon easy spin. Only 88% POP, so headed down the bike path. Started with sleet. Okay, I can deal. Then the wind started and I was getting pelted! Mix in snow, freezing rain and whtaever else you get at 32*. Had to keep it easy as the path was getting quite slippery. Cut it to just short of 20mi. Not the most enjoyable ride, but MUCH better than sitting in the basement going no where.
