sunday rest for me.

Chhances- yea, looks like its gonna be a goofy year for college football this year. My teamooked real good last night... at least for the 1st 25 mins.... then got obliterated by Oregon... oh well.... its a rebuilding year right?

BTW- JD was selected to be one of the Nat'l Guard guys that carry the flag out today for the Tennessee Titans pre-game..Maybe they'll show it on TV. Hopefully my NFL Sunday will be better than my NCAA Saturday. Go Titans!

Easy 4 this morning, going to BMW golf tournament with my FIL today. Cool about JD, looks like another tough year for my Bills, but there's always hope before game 1!

Morning...

BBS - Rest well. What's your team? I'm still following USC no matter what and Rob's addicted to Boise, having a few more teams to follow from the boards would be fun.

Ok, body feels crap after 9 hrs sleep. Same ol crud. May run anyway. Really hate to spend another 200 to have my blood checked but doesn't seem like I have a choice.

Hi, all.

BBS -- Yep, the Ducks hit a different gear the second half. And my Broncs got knocked out of the NCG discussion without even playing. Va. Tech ruined two teams' seasons yesterday. Cool about JD. Rest up.

zrun -- Hope you had a great 4. Bills fan, eh? Must be your point of origin?

Dan -- That bunch of Beaver Cleavers from UVA nearly knocked off SC in their own house last night. (Shudder). Hope you feel better and can make it out there.

Me -- Beautiful, sunny, still and cool morning in SW Idaho. Perfect for an 18-miler. Legs feel okay after yesterday's "race" effort.

BBS - Kiffen's a sore subject for USC fans who would rather have Pete. That is unless you live in Seattle. Oh, that's me.

Rob - Not feeling better but am going anyway. If I'm going to pay 200 bucks might as well get my money's worth.

Good morning everyone. I guess I can say that Utah beat up on a team that they should have. The best thing is the our rival BYU got stomped by Air Force. I am going to try to put up a short race report sometime soon on yesterdays race. Have a good morning everyone.

Hey now, who's calling our Cavaliers Beaver Cleavers? Charlottesville's a great town. The team's just not very good.

Light day planned for me, just a 3-5 mile recovery run. It's raining lightly right now, but it was pretty hard over night. At the moment I'm feeling kinda lazy, and hungry, so maybe I'll go this afternoon.

The only NFL game I care about today is the Eagles - Packers at 4. As for the "big" local game, Skins-Cowboys...zzzz. I hate them both, here's to a 0-0 tie. My team has soccer tonight anyway.

Enjoy the day and whatever it brings.

A disinterested Packer and Badger fan here, slightly curious if they'll win or not. If not...whatever. Solinsky is my guy to follow...other sports...psssh.

Not really sure how far I went, but probably somewhere between 16 and 17 for me today. Did 12 pretty firm with the team, 10mins added on to that with a kid, and then 2.8 more with an alum in marathon training, according to her Garmin. 116mins. Legs sore, and looking forward to recovery tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Backhanded compliment there, Hawk. I use the term to refer to those brainy sorts attending the better schools, who generally end up employing the rest of us. I'd say the same for Duke, UNC, Va. Tech., G'Town, G.W., Johns Hopkins, and likely many more in that area. Actually, I'd say it about any institution with academics superior to my alma maters, which is just about anyone. :)

18 went just fine. Easy at first, but started fatiguing toward the end -- expected after yesterday's hard effort. 7:36 pace.
