A nice 16-mile run this morning on rural roads, by farms, open fields and woods. Temp was in the 40's at the start, low 60's now. I was running well through the first 14, but the last 2 miles were tough. Taper now!
10 mile run with running club. Ended up a little faster than intended, but that's okay. It was my final long run before the marathon next weekend. Eek!
12.23 miles this morning, 1:50:45. Felt no mojo out there, although it was beautiful out, I'm pretty dang tired from racing the last two weekends. Scaling back the next few weeks of taper a little bit more, my body is telling me it needs some more rest ... more than Pfitz wants to give me.

One of my friends who I was running long with this summer just scored herself a 3:46 marathon today. VERY happy for her ... hopefully some of that rubs off in a few weeks!
Chilly? 53F at 8am. Praying for weather like this, come next Sunday.

I got my 20 miles in this afternoon. Once again I was too lazy to get up this morning after Saturday football games so I started just after 1:00 and finished just after 5:00. Nothing exceptional but I kept going. Someday I'm going to learn to get up out of bed Sunday mornings!!!!
6.2 on the treadmill, easy recovery to loosen the legs up. Then I took a fun yoga class from the bendiest man on earth.
