10 miles this morning. I ran in the neighborhood of a running group friend who was generous enough to slow down a bit. He lives in a very pretty waterfront/country area a few miles out of town, and we always see deer running while we're out.

It was beastly humid. Yuck.

Thus endeth my easy week.

Fab fall weather: Clear and sunny 61F at 9:30a.

5 recovery miles and cooled down with 4x strides.

Cycling this afternoon to check out the downtown street fest.
A very difficult 12 miles this morning. Going > 24 hours without any food and water (for Yom Kippur) is not very good training.
The plan was to do 14 miles this morning, but I cut it a little short and only did 13.25. The run started out fine, but I just had NO energy today. None. Oh well. At least so achilles issue.
10.5 miles in 1:40:32.

Plan tonight was 8 miles of general aerobic running. I ended up doing 9 miles of my normal home 10 mile loop.

Heart rate was high all night given the pace I was running. Not sure why.
Run Segments
I am such a dunce. Didn't get up in time for my solo run this morning. So at 3:00 I went to Ansley and ran the same 9 mile route I ran yesterday morning and then the six mile loop again. I was so hot and sweaty. There was a shaved ice vendor at Ansley. When I finished my run I got nice root beer ice cone. It was so divine.

15 miles in 2:41:58.

I must get up earlier on Sunday's.
