6 miles at 7:15. Easy pace. For the first time since May, it was in the 60s and the humidity was lower. Two big V's of geese flew South over me. These are good signs!

Hit the trails at around 7am. 1:11:10. I figure it was about 7+ miles. Life is good!

Congratulations Jill!

The long climb back continues. Hmmmm. Let's be obtuse. 10% longer in terms of time, 27% longer in terms of distance. That's good. Means I'm faster. Or... relatively so.

7 miles in 66 minutes. Very hilly, up on "my" Nose Hill.

Good to hear Grizz...."'cause it's all coming back to me now..."

Congrats Jill! Nice job Jen and SGH!

Nothing for me today or tomorrow...I think the rest will do me good, helping brother move into his appartment today and picking up sister from the airport. Soon I'll be an only child again lol. I'm used to it though, so no worries.

What a fine day for running. Even at 9:00am it was overcast with a light breeze for my 16 mile run/walk. I set my Garmin for 15 1 mile intervals followed by a 1 minute walk break. What a lot of people don't realize about walk breaks is you keep moving. So although I ran 15 miles, when the walk breaks were added in I was at 16:01 miles. I'm satisfield until next weekend's 16 miler.

Hi all,

Sorry for the late post. I was away for the weekend and didn't have Internet access.

The course description in the report will be meaningless to most of you. It is based on a couple of courses I normally run when I'm at my parent's cottage. The first 5.5 miles were from this course. The rest of it comes from this course. From mile 5.5, I followed what is show on the second course as mile 9 to about mile 17.2. Instead of turning right there though, I turned left and proceeded home.

I'm calling it 17.5 miles. Might not be exact, but I'm too tired to pedometer it tonight.

I ran pretty well today. When I started out, I actually found myself being passed by a bunch of bikers with numbers on their arms. Turns out they were part of a triathlon today.

At about mile 12 I saw a deer in the woods. I felt bad about spooking her.

Anyway, I ran well.
Run Segments
