looks like labduck got dove done with lap 5 in 20:15, still on target to finish sub-30! weather is fantastic here in az, a nice cool morning, and hopefully opie is helping to keep her on track. 77.4+ miles... new territory for our hero... time to get tough and dig!

Thanks mcsolar! Go Dove Go! Fantastic and our hero indeed.

Ran 3.5 untimed easy miles at 7:00 am and off to watch hockey now. To think that Dove will be celebrating by the time I get back having run from my house to Boston and then some. Wow.

Good Morning mc & CNY!

Yeah, Dove's amazing. It should be close to the 24 hour mark now . . . and here I sit too cold and lazy to get out the door for a run while watching the javalina results refresh every minute . Looking forward to hearing how Dove and her crew did!

Holy cow! I'm having so much fun watching and waiting for Dove's results!

14.55 NON-stumbling miles this morning in 2:12:20 (9:06 pace). I ran the same course as last week and I swear I saw a bloody stain at mile 8.6 where I left some of my elbow....

I'm hoping to reach 40 miles this week, which is a real stretch for me. I'm in the last week of my 12-week resistance training program...3 heavy resistance workouts a week, 2 HIIT sessions, 2 abdominal workouts and a yoga session. It's hard to find time (or energy!) to fit in the running. But I think I have 40 miles in me, we'll see.

Me too, Robin. But I wish that chattering guy would shut up.

Feeling good after yesterday's run. Glad I did it then. It's 10° colder this morning!! I'll get a short run in later today, would be fun to hit 60 miles this week. Looks like another beautiful day, feels odd to have a Sunday not booked up with a long run.

ETA: I hope Dove is ok... She's dropped a few places in the last half hour... She's done! 28:46, and it looks like she was running with another who looks to have been really struggling there at the end. Whew! Yay, Dove!!

WTG Dove! What an incredible accomplishment.

I ran only a total of 14 miles this week and 10 of those were today. My friend's husband dropped us off out in the country and we ran back to her house. I felt really good today. We did the running club's hayride last night and are now headed to the club's costume potluck. DH ran a 10k yesterday and Nikki Kimball took 1st female. It went across Michael Keaton's property who was out on the course in his truck, I guess.

Pink, I will be a garden gnome and Mr. C will be a gardener. I also have to wear this silly costume to work on Friday where the entire library staff will be garden gnomes in the campus contest.

Woohoo Dove!! I came home from my run and first thing I did was check on her results. What an amazing accomplishment!!

I had my long run today, and it was a beautiful day in the park for it. 20 miles in 3:27:57 (10:24 avg pace). That's 15 minutes faster than when I did that distance two weeks ago. I'm quite pleased.

Off to tackle laundry mountain. Have a great rest of the weekend, everyone!

Excellent OM! You're doing so well with your running, and sounds like you're having fun doing it. That's the best.

After 100 miles? Yeah, wow... a nap would e a place to start. I'm so hungry after a marathon, I can only imagine how long it would take to refuel/recover from 100 miles!

WTG, Dovelina. I thought about you as I did a piddling 15 M today.

TW, do you have a URL for a Red River Hog image, like a jpeg? If so, click the "insert image: icon above the editing window, click on the image URL tab, and type (or paste) in the URL. If it doesn't work, the image is probably protected and not made to be shared. Or you can load a pic that's on your computer.
