Gooooooood Mornnnnnnning, TEAM LIT!

Stiff and sore but otherwise feeling good. Going out to rake leaves right now or, well, at least suck them up with the mower! Hope your day goes just as well.

1 mile keep-the-streak alive RUN (I actually ran the whole thing!) early this morning!

Make it an ULTRA great day, Peeps!

ps THANK YOU to all for such great words on my race yesterday. Still hard to believe that I pulled that sucker off and finished the way I did. Pretty amazing to think that my longest run was 3 hours yet after 9 hours I was still going pretty strong! Yeah baby, 50 miles!

Congrats, Thor - Ultramarathoner!!!!! Is this the kind of race you are heading toward in coming years?

10miles or so on a beautiful Grand Traver Resort golf course w/ DH. A loose plan was to run about 5miles or so together, come back to the health club to grab some water, and him to go back to the room and me to continue another 5miles or so on my own. (DH raced almost 3hrs yesterday...). But a sunny, gorgeous early winter day (some snow on the grass) with a beautiful view of Grand Traverse Bay along with never ending golf-cart path took him to stay with me for the whole way. Nice and easy pace run. After 4wks of 40+mpw, I feel pretty good and time to taper a bit. 2wks to the goal half.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Was supposed to do 9-10 mile run today but my right knee feels slightly tweaked so I took the "the hay is in the barn" mentality and opted to hop on the trainer instead. Uphill Grind with my BF (yes, we are back together again! ) How could I possibly forget how hard he can kick my a$$? I haven't sweat that much in ages!! OY

Antibiotics are working. I slept 5 hours and then 3 more. That's basically a normal night + some! I feel IMMENSELY better. I bet I did indeed have strep or something similar, because this dramatic turn came about 12-24hours after I started antibiotics. Now I can get back to the business of recovering.

Sticking around the house to further the recovery. Would rather have been out on a 3hr Z2 ride w/ Alaska Mike and Niemsco thought. Our plans fell apart, but it would have been about 35 degrees or so at the start

Thor--NICELY DONE!!!

I got knocked flat with some killer cold. I never really felt that bad, just couldn't breathe due to coughing. And I lost my voice.

Back to the fishbowl for an uneventful 2500m. Felt good to get moving again after being sick since Thursday. Warm moist air did the trick.

Last minute planning for my trip to AZ. Flying into Tucson to spend a couple days with my parents. Somehow I need to get to Phoenix on Thursday and find a place to stay overnight. Friday is the start to Susan Koman 3-Day for the Cure. 20miles each day. Just found out that there is NO RUNNING allowed. Uh oh... All my training has been running, no walking at all. Should be interesting.

Yesterday ran 15K at 7:04 pace. Ah I need to pick it up soon, I need to be running those around 6:30 or better. Just not a lot of motivation yet to get training again. I did a 5 mile easy run today, I just thought that might be good to do to get the blood flowing. Originally I just wanted to sit on my butt. Hopefully I'll try again next week to get my training going.

7-ish mile run this morning. Ran a bit more than planned since I started seeing cars with cross bling driving around so I detoured to the fairgrounds to check out today's Cross Crusade. Got home in time to see the finish at NYC. Incredible run by Shalane today!

Fast, solid run Scott!

I think that is enough exclamation points for now.

Me: Got out of the house at 7AM and did an easy 13.1 mile run in about 1:54:00. I was supposed to go for 2 hours but I needed to accompany my family to church. My right quad is still a bit sore, but no "pain". I have an hour ride on the trainer set for later on today. Two weeks away from IMAZ!!!

Have a great day everyone! (well one more exclamation point)

Congrats, Thor!

Not too much for me; I did a one hour spin class and I felt strong throughout. Then marathon-watching on TV, and then we went to see the Movie RED, which was fun.

Feeling very inspired to increase my milage after seeing the marathon again.

Ran w/DD and DS this am...both kids want to do a 5K in about 3 weeks, so trying to get them up to snuff...DS ran cross country so he'll be ok, DD needs to get her mileag up. ;p Overall about 3.7 miles for me, 3 for DS and ~1.5 for DD. We'll get her there!

I spent the weekend in scenic Harrisonburg, VA at my sister's shower - no real exercise although I started both days with some PT exercises and pilates since the hotel bed killed my back.
