Gooooooo MQ! Does anybody know her real name or bib#? Hopefully she is enjoying the race! I was talking to a friend at CX race today who used to live near the course. It sounds like the bike course is a bit stinky, yes literally stinky, going by the garbage mountain 6 times? Sending the mojo to her way!

Cyclocross race #2. Another 3rd finish (out of 7?). Glad I went. The young girl (15!) who passed me right before the finish line at the last week's race, I found out, is a Jr. National-level Velodrome racer. Yeah, that makes me feel better a bit
. She smoked me big time today. My legs were tired from get-go partially thanks to the late 10miles run on a trail yesterday PM. More later.

And again as a cool down, I sought a mountain bike trail in this park where the race was held. And I found it! Tons of no-marked trails in the woods that you wouldn't even imagine exist relatively close to a busy sububan city of Rocheser Hills MI. Had a blast, getting lost in the woods.

Time to get serious about T-day dinner. Expecting about 16 people total. Year #18 after David and I started hosting an annual dinner.
