So... did everyone make it?

Nuthin' yet as I forgot to set my alarm last night and overslept. Guess I deserved it. 5K race at 9, work at 10. Planned 20mi ride with son1 turned into 41. Then mowed the lawn. So I'm thinking I earned a few extra hours of sleep. Will do a bike/run brick after church.

Rest day for me. May tray to mess around on the mtn bike before church pending on how much stuff DW has for me to do before hand.

Yesterdays 11 basically sucked. As soon as I started running the rain stopped and the sun came out to make a nice sauna-like environment. I'm hoping it was because of that and fatigue from extra miles here lately... I have a 11.5 mile race in 2 weeks, and I'm really not sure I could have made it all the way yesterday at race pace. Anyways, got done w/ the run, rushed home, took a shower and jumped in the bed. That really sucks, kinda wired after a long run. Now I'm dead tired from a 12hr shift on top of my long run...

Nothing today. Bagged my planned 10 miler as staying on a farm/winery in Galena has destroyed my sinuses. Basically, it feels like I've been punched in the face and a red hot pocker stuck up my nose. Hopefully I'll recover to my 10 mile race on the 28th. DW's tri went well despite the pouring rain and lack of bke training - 2 mins faster than last year. 10th in AG. The course is super hilly.

Hi folks, 11 on the trails early this morning. Was going to be 12, but it was already high 60s and sunny/humid before 6am and I wilted and took a little shortcut on the way back. Crazy week at work coming up.

Jill - great run! Hey, ever here of the Tussey mountainback race? A guy at the Poconos was telling me about it. It's mostly on trails and sounds kind of up your alley.
