We have several members racing today -- Ron, Otter, to name a few -- so let's all think strong thoughts for them.

Good luck racers!! Probably Jen is running as I type this. Gooooooo Otter!

Great workout this morning. Since I couldn't make it to the MTB race, I went to 90min spin class with 20min on my own before the class. Did my own thing of 2x20min at tempo. Phew lots of sweat. Then hopped on TM for 4miles. I felt so light (thanks to wearing K-swiss light shoes?) and couldn't believe 8:30 felt that easy so I even tried the TM next to mine just to doublecheck if the TM was way out of whack. No, it was as easy. So went back to my first TM and cranked up the speed and incline to 4% at 8min pace. Felt great. Looking forward to my first race this year, next Sunday.

Nasty weather here! Had hoped to get on the bike since I've reached my running quota for the weeks but the way the we is swirling around the area, I'm not sure it will happen. Probably only PT exercises and icing today.

Damn you Winfrey! Not in the cards today...will post a RR maybe tomorrow, but finish time was 4:35 or something. Had major stomach issues from about mile 21 on...if not for that, probably would have had it today. Someday, I WILL run a marathon under 4:30. But, still was a good day to be out running, little otters were there at mile 20 and 22 (an out and back portion), DH and BFF at mile 18, 24 and the finish....that made it all better.

Rabbit paddled in a kayak, and then she got her first extended OWS in too.

I'm fine for the Bay Swim regarding pace, I just have to be able to deal with currents and tides.

Yup! Except we never got a week of sun. We go two days of crazy 85+ and then rain again...and again...

Can't wait for your RR, Ron!

brick workout for me today. 1.5 hours on the trainer with 2x10 in HR zn 4 and 10 min recovery. Would have *much* rather been outside for intervals, but not in this sort of rain. Long "T2" since I had to pee. 2 mile zn 2 run.
